This illustration was made for the Pen Store’s annual creative challenge. Each year they send out a kit with six pens, colors chosen at random, and the task is to make an illustration using only those pens. It’s a fun, unpredictable exercise, completely unlike my usual day-to-day work.
As you might be able to tell from the images, this one was a late-night project made after hours, with three rather goofy pigeons hiding in a peony bush. A little playful, a little messy, and a lot of fun!
