I’ve been using a metal water bottle every day for years, so when Spanish brand Runbott reached out, I was genuinely excited.
We started out discussing whether to go with a custom brief or draw from my existing work, and ended up finding the perfect match in my pattern licensing library. They gave me the technical details I needed to adapt the prints to a product I’d never designed for before. I remade the repeats to fit the bottle dimensions and made room for both our logos.
The Tulip print is the first to launch, with more designs on the way. And wow, I now finally have a bottle with my own pattern on it!
