A Family Art Show at Stenhuset, Surahammar

A Family Art Show at Stenhuset, Surahammar

This autumn I’ll be part of a very special exhibition at Stenhuset Art Gallery in Surahammar. It’s not only an opportunity to share my work, but also to do it together with my family.

From September 6 to October 12, Stenhuset will host a group show featuring me, my partner Jonas Welin, and my parents, Catharina Warme-Hellström and Esko Hellström. Each of us has our own artistic path and expression, but together our works will create a conversation across generations.

My own practice combines illustration, pattern design, and sculpture, inspired by nature and filled with detail and color. I’ll be showing off my floral sculptures, textiles, and art prints.

Jonas works primarily with sculpture, often in papier-mâché and clay. His creatures are playful, colorful, and a little odd.
My mother, Catharina, is a printmaker and visual artist with a long career working in etching, serigraphy, and linocut. Her imagery often returns to motifs from nature, like leaves and birds. My father, Esko, is also an artist, and his works will join ours in this shared space.

It feels meaningful to bring our different artistic voices together under one roof. The exhibition will feature sculpture, graphics, textiles, and visual art.

Venue: Stenhuset, Surahammar
Exhibition dates: September 6 – October 12
Vernissage: Saturday, September 6, 13:30–17:00

If you’re nearby, I’d love for you to visit!
